Today I have some exciting news as I have met up with Jinhao on my free days and got to
know him, the possibility of me working at the 9CE skate shop is becoming more and
more realistic. Today I will be heading to the skate shop, and he will explain to me what I
would have to do. If this would work out, I will also film my video of my “Day in the Life”
here as I wanted to challenge myself and film it in Taiwan completely out of my comfort
zone.
I’ve learnt that my responsibilities would include a few things also similar to the Sunabe
skate shop.
These include:
- Cleaning the store
- Handling online orders
- Stock control
- Board set- ups
- Packaging
- Translation
As for translation I don’t speak Chinese so funnily I got more responsibilities here in
Taipei as I will advise the foreign customers by myself or at least that’s how I understood
it.
I am so excited for this possibility, and I start my first official day tomorrow.
