Who am I?

My Goal

With this Blog I want to document my Culfox stay and Inform about the Japanese and Taiwanese Culture as well as the tourism Industry in the Region. I hope to create a platform where I can look back on my learning experiences and see how the theory I’ve learnt in class transfers into the real world. Adding to this I hope this blog helps people who want to learn how to be culturally sensitiv in Japan and Taiwan.

About me

My name is Yuuki Heshiki and I’m a 22 year old tourism Student from Switzerland.

I love being active from Skateboarding to Hiking I truly enjoy any physical activity. I usually work as a Service employee or as a Skatecoach.

My Cultural background

I grew up in a two culture household with my dad being from Okinawa, Japan, and my mother being from Switzerland.

When it comes to culture, I grew up in Switzerland and I would say I am more accustomed to “Western” culture. You will be able to see how I try to navigate in those two different cultures during my stay.
